Kourtney Roy was born in 1981 in Ontario, Canada. Her photographs have been awarded the Prix Picto in 2007, the Emily Award in Canada in 2012, La Carte Blanche PMU/Le Bal in 2013, her nomination for the Prix Élysée at the Musée de l’Élysée in Lausanne in 2014, and by Pernod Ricard for their Carte Blanche in 2018 at Paris Photo. Kourtney Roy has exhibited in France, at Le Bal, Paris, in 2014 and at Paris Photo in 2018. His work has also been exhibited in China, Italy, Switzerland at the Musée de l’Élysée, the United States, Australia, and Moscow for the Photo Biennale 2017. In 2019 she won the UFO award at the European Short Film Festival of Brest with her short film Morning Vegas.
